Hi!
So sorry for my long absence, I'm still alive and quite good, working hard and keeping to take photos when I have enough time.
I've not updated my journal for a long time, and today I wanna show you some pics of mine shot in Shimabara Hina Dolls Fes and in my house.
Shimabara is located in the east of Nagasaki Pref, and it's a very beautiful city.
The canal made by spring water around the city, and Shimabara castle, Fugen-dake
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Un… etc are very famous in Japan.
As usual, by clicking each pics you can see large sized pics
A Shinto priest.
Before the Fes, all of the participant were purified by the priest.
A girl, role for Ohina-Sama.
A guy, role for Musha(Bushi).
Shimabara castle.
Prunus mume garden.
Hina dolls in each Buke-Yashikis.
This doll is not Hina doll, but decorated in some buke yashiki.
I was very amazed with the beauty of the doll.
At the Spring Water Garden in Shimabara city.
The pond is closely attached to the architecture of old Japanese house.
Ancient Japanese Samurai class people enjoyed the beauty of the garden like this.
My son!!

Previously I submitted the pic of the same object.

Btw....I got new hobby last summer, and I'm so so so interested in it recently.
It's....aquarium!
My son asked me to buy some ricefish medaka in August, and we bought some of them.
We started to feed them with very small water tank, and gradually I was very fascinated by aquarium.
Next month I bought another 60cm tank, started to feed characins, and in December I added another 60cm tank and 45cm tank.
Now I enjoy to feed fishes, and decorate the water plants everyday.
Here are some pics of the fishes I feed.
1st 60cm tank in my personal room.
Equipped with EHEIM 2215, fermented CO2.
Neon terta, Hemigrammus erythrozonus, Pristella maxillaris, Corydorases, Otocinclus, Japanese marsh shrimp, Neocaridina denticulata denticulata.

2nd 60cm tank in my personal room.

The tank is laid out with various water plants, Java moss, Blyxa, Micranthemum micranthemoides, Rotala indica, Riccia, and Eleocharis parvula, etc.
3rd 45cm tank in the living room in my house.
Equipped with Bottom-in filter and pomp, fermented CO2.
Platy, Poecilia velifera, Colisa lalia, Neon tetra, Otocinclus, Japanese marsh shrimp.
My daughter loves to watch the fishes in the living room
Do you see the small fishes?
They are the Platy fry born in last month!!
At first I did'nt noticed them, and one day my wife told me that there were some small fishes we've ever seen in the tank.
Most of fry are usually eaten by other fishes ( sometimes by their parent fish XX ), but in this tank 8 fry survived, grew to the size which other fishes can't eat.
We're very happy with new lives!!
Phew, as usual my journal is too long...I'm so sorry!
See you in next journal
