Lantern Street

Tonight I was driving with my family and I noticed that the festival for Chu-Shu-Setsu (中秋節 ) was held in Nagasaki China Town.

Chu-Shu-Setsu means 15th Augst by the lunar calendar, and we usually see the full moon around this day.
Unfortunatelly in Nagasaki it has been raining a bit, so I could'nt see the full moon.

However, at Fes, I saw a lot of beautiful lanterns over my head :aww:
There were a lot of people in the main street so I shot this pic in the side street.

Canon EOS 400D
Sigma 30mm F1.4
(As usuall handhold shot xD)

This is simply breathtaking! I love the combination of blue, red and yellow tones that make it feel very warm and glowy and atmospheric. I wish we had such lovely festivals here.
